Our Origin
Founder Stephen was inspired to launch the brand after losing his British Shorthair cat, Kung Hey, to a condition triggered by chronic, unaddressed stress — a realization that opened his eyes to a significant gap in the pet industry's focus on surface symptoms over root causes.
Today, LitPet transcends traditional supplements to offer a bio-wellness lifestyle that bridges Eastern herbal wisdom with modern veterinary science, prioritizing long-term prevention, emotional balance, and intentional care so that pets don't just survive, but truly thrive.
R&D
LitPet has an R&D team in London and Hong Kong. It uses biopharmaceutical technology to examine the integration of academic research and Chinese herbal medicine, aiming to enhance bodily functions and maintain optimal health. We collaborate with top professors from institutions like Oxford, Cambridge, and Johns Hopkins University to research the health needs of pets. By collecting and analyzing vast amounts of clinical data, they deliver reliable nutritional solutions to pet families across Asia and Europe. Additionally, through the advanced LitPet Net cooperation system, we promote collaboration among bioscience professionals and encourage partnerships in the life sciences sector within Greater China.

Member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons
LitPet works with Hong Kong veterinarians experienced in pet nutrition, disease prevention, and rehabilitation, with co-developed products already in clinics. The R&D is led by Anita Young, Member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, Cambridge graduate, certified in veterinary acupuncture, and active with the Hong Kong SPCA. With global clinical experience and multiple patented formulas, she provides strong expertise for LitPet's product development.
Veterinary Science from the University of Sydney
As LitPet's veterinary product advisor, Dr Duncan Houston brings extensive expertise in animal welfare and veterinary care. A University of Sydney graduate in Veterinary Science, he supports product development at LitPet while fostering for Cat Rescue 901 and Kitten Addiction, and contributes to wildlife protection through his veterinary work at WIRES Inc.
Member of the International Eurasian Academy of Sciences
Member of the International Eurasian Academy of Sciences and known as the Father of Hyaluronic Acid in China, Ling Peixue guides LitPet's product team in applying hyaluronic acid to develop high-quality functional nutrition for pets across all life stages.

Found shivering in a midnight rainstorm with a broken leg, MiMi was rescued by our founder and given a month of life-saving treatment. Now a lively and energetic survivor, she serves as the first member of our Chief Tasting Officer team. MiMi leads our critical palatability testing, ensuring every LitPet meal pouch is as delicious as it is scientifically advanced.
Mochi is the most discerning member of our Chief Tasting Officer team. At three years old, his notorious 'snack thief' habits make him famously picky. His high standards are now our secret weapon; ensuring our bio-wellness pouches satisfy even the most selective palates.
Faye is Mochi's twin sister. Abandoned at a vet clinic and treated inhumanely, she was rescued and welcomed home. Known for her incredible jumping ability and sweet spirit, Faye's recovery embodies our mission of restorative, intentional care.
DouDou, a six-year-old Poodle and the Founder's constant companion, successfully navigated joint surgery for a congenital patellar dislocation. He now stands as a healthy, thriving example of the mobility and vitality we strive to provide for every pet.
